an evening with Vahan Bego |
On March 29th 2006 we showed Vahan's lively video of his work (with a great Sweet Noise soundtrack) to a hand-picked audience of 25 people. They had to be hand-picked because first everyone watched The Colour of Pomegranates by Armenian director Sergei Paradjanov. It is an amazing film, but extremely demanding viewing. In the interval we ate some delicious Armenian food (chicken in pomegranate sauce) prepared by James and Caroline.
As we were busy with other things Jack (top row, centre) took a few pictures during the interval. Jack has been very helpful with transport and logistics, and often lends us his digital camera.
