Dean ("Dino") Majors is an Eccleshillzonian by origin but he has been working in Saltaire recently and is already one of our best-known eccentrics. Dino has been a good friend of Saltaire Arts from the very beginning. When not too severely discombobulated he can be found serving behind the bar at The Rosse Hotel, or in the kitchen preparing tasty food for customers, but he is even better known and loved for his huge repertoire of funny stories and rapid-fire ad-lib wit. Dino can score the odd 180 at darts and plays a crafty hand for the dominoes team. He specialises in pub-quiz general knowledge, with an excellent coverage of popular culture in the 1980's, but has never learned how to play pool because he is deslyxic and thinks a cue is something you have to wait at in the Post Office to buy a stamp. Dino also does sign-writing with great flair and dashes of humour, and his colourful boards make a great contribution to the cheerful visual aesthetic inside the Rosse.
